A letter to the Prime Minister of Papua New Guinea by Olen Kema.
To Hon. James Marape, the Prime Minister of Papua New Guinea.
Dear Prime Minister James Marape,
I am writing to you with a heavy heart and a sense of urgency. As a leader chosen by God and highly respected by your people, I know you have the power to bring about positive change in our nation.
That is why I am reaching out to you today to address a pressing issue that is causing great concern among our native population: the exploitation and oppression of our people by foreign individuals and groups, particularly those from India, Bangladesh, and Malaysia.
These foreigners are not only taking over our customary lands, reserves businesses, and natural resources, but they are also engaging in illegal activities such as illegal fishing and cutting down natural forests.
Worse still, they are often protected by law enforcement and political connections, making it even harder for our native population to seek justice.
This cannot be allowed to continue. The marginalization and oppression of our people must end. I urge you, Prime Minister James Marape, to take strong and decisive action to address this issue and stand up for the rights of your people. Do everything in your power to bring an end to this suffering and injustice.
We are counting on you, Prime Minister James Marape, to be a champion for justice and equality. Your leadership and commitment to your people will be crucial in bringing about positive change and a brighter future for all.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Sincerely.
Olen Kema

My view on Australia recruiting 10,000 soldiers and giving them Australian citizenship is a very positive development for Australia and PNG. Simply because we have 30,000 young people finishing school every year and most of them are unable to find jobs.
