From dramatic highlands with impervious forests and raging rivers… to serene coastline with crystal-clear water and incredible reefs… Papua New Guinea is the most beautiful country you’ve never thought to visit.
Forbes recently named Papua New Guinea the 9th most beautiful country on the planet. For those of us that live here… it’s no surprise… although, my immediate reaction was: I’m not sure they got the top 8 right.
I hope Papua New Guinean Tourism enjoys the same success as natural resources in the future… sustainably and responsibly showcasing another world-class feature of this hidden corner.

My view on Australia recruiting 10,000 soldiers and giving them Australian citizenship is a very positive development for Australia and PNG. Simply because we have 30,000 young people finishing school every year and most of them are unable to find jobs.
