Son PUT GOD FIRST – 17 Arrows (Principles) to Face Real Life Challenges.

On the eve of my Graduation, I remember my Dad giving speech at my Graduation Celebration to let me know about the valuable tip about life and love. Son “PUT GOD First. “This are my 17 arrows I’ve been keeping for you to take it on board to face the life challenges”.

1_THINK STRATEGICALLY

“Noken lukluk lo campfire but you mas lukluk lo sampla night vision lo ol arapla usait e sneak up lo you too”. Mental or thinking process must applied in the context of achieving your goal or set of goals in a game or other endeavor.

You can be done individually, or collaboratively among key people who can positively alter an organization’s future.

2_DON’T CHASE THE PROVERBIAL CAT

“Money em olsm cat, sapos you chasim you bai nonap catcim but sapos you focus lo wanem samtin sawe attracktim cat kain olsm rat em bai still kam lo you yet”. When you stop chasing money and start chasing purpose, you will find prosperity and peace

3_BE TRUE TO THE BAR YOU SET FOR YOURSELF

“Noken lowerim standard blo you lo ples work or wanem hap you stap tasol putim big Man lo wokabout blo you” Behaving according to your beliefs and doing what you think is right. Try to remember that no matter how hard it gets, you have to remain true to yourself.

4_ACTION EQUALS RESULTS

“Olgeta time kamap olsm damn ball becos you bai nonap baunce olsm basket ball”

Your beliefs become your thoughts,

Your thoughts become your words,

Your words become your actions,

Your actions become your habits,

Your habits become your values,

Your values become your destiny.

5_LIVE A LIFE OF WHICH YOU CAN BE PROUD

“Time you progress lo life blo you wanem samtin you makim na how em makim you hamamas mas stap lo stretpla way na gutpla way lo displa em bai nogat wanpla samtin bai defeatim you. Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind.

6_ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS

“Please noken tru judge wanpla man or meri lo toktok blo you tasol toktok lo wanm samtin ol trutru wokim” Actions prove who someone is, words just prove who they want to be.

7_FIND YOUR TRIBE & LIVE IT UP TOGETHER

“Life lo ples graun em shortpla time tasol lo hamamas tasol lukluk gut lo ol man mari you raun, toktok na stap wantaim ol” You cannot change the people around you but you can change the people you choose to be around.

8_DON’T MAKE SOMEONE A PRIORITY IF YOU’RE ONLY AN OPTION TO THEM

“Nokem tru givim you yet easily tumas lo ol man meri husait ino appreciatim you”. You may not control all the events that happen to you, but you can decide not to be reduced by them.”

9_LEAD BY EXAMPLE

“Lukaut gut lo wanm you toktok, tintin na samtin you makim or noken forcim ol arapla lo behainim toktok na tintin blo you tasol you mas walk your talk”. Never separate the life you live from the words you speak.

10_LIVE ON YOUR TERMS

“Em life blo you nau bai you go through problems na challenges but you mas luk save lo how lo handlim life lo achievim dreams na goals blo you”. Don’t go through life, grow through life

12_DEFINE YOUR PERSPECTIVE

“Displa life lo ples graun igat nogut na gutpla wantaim traim lo lukim gutpla na nogut wantaim so you bai inap lo makim right decision”. Gratitude is one of the most powerful human emotions. Once expressed, it changes attitude, brightens outlook, and broadens our perspective.

13_REMEMBER WHY YOU’RE WORKING IN THE FIRST PLACE

“Noken spendim planty time lo makim living na lus tintin lo makim hamamas life lo family blo you in future”. The quality of a person’s life is in direct proportion to their commitment to excellence, regardless of their chosen to field of endeavor.

14_BE A LITTLE BAD SOMETIMES

“Taim you choose between hamamas na being perfect traim go kisim sampla hamamas but lo mark blo em”. People aren’t born good or bad. Maybe they’re born with tendencies either way, but it’s the way you live your life that matters.

15_YOU REAP WHAT YOU SOW

“Life em i olsm garden you workm everyday you mas rausim ol gras nogut everyday you mas planim planty seeds blo ol kaikai”.

Cultivate your craft. Water it daily, pour some tender loving care into it, and watch it grow. Remember that a plant doesn’t sprout immediately. Be patient, and know that in life you will reap what you sow.

16_TURN SETBACKS INTO SET-UPS

“Noken kisim olgeta samtin olsm em nogut but you mas kisim na lainim gutpla na nogut lo kamapim gutpla pasin blo you”.

When you start living the life of your dreams, there will always be obstacles, doubters, mistakes and setbacks along the way. But with hard work, perseverance and self-belief there is no limit to what you can achieve.

17_KINDNESS MATTERS

“Olgeta time showim pasin blo sore na pasin blo laikm lo ol man meri”. Love and kindness are never wasted. They always make a difference. They bless the one who receives them, and they bless you, the giver.

This really help me throughout my life as I am now. Thanks Dad I love you so much.
