His death sparked a shocking level of violence.
Women were rounded up by a mob, and about a dozen were tortured.
Four of them died.

Ruth has been fighting for the victims of sorcery accusation related violence in Papua New Guinea since she gave up law study to become a human rights activist.
She’s now board president of Advancing PNG Leaders Network, an organisation she set up after being deputy director for Papua New Guinea Tribal Foundation.

My view on Australia recruiting 10,000 soldiers and giving them Australian citizenship is a very positive development for Australia and PNG. Simply because we have 30,000 young people finishing school every year and most of them are unable to find jobs.
