When their mother passed away in 2011, the three relied solely on their dad. “I was going through rough times and I started missing the love, care and warmth of my dear mother. I started drinking and going out with friends. “My father sent me to Tari Secondary School to cut me off from my friends.” After seven tough years, Faith gets her degree. KEY ISSUES WITH PNG-US SECURITY AGREEMENT AS LEAKED: DELAY SIGNING UNTIL FIXED: PNG and US governments are said to sign an unprecedented security agreement for US forces to be operating in PNG (possibly this week!). A draft agreement was leaked last week which was not denied by either governments. Unless the leak document is false, the provisions as they are presents the following four (4) issues the Marape Government and the State of PNG needs to consider (additional to those already raised by others). Dr Bal Kama, a Constitutional Lawyer, wrote the following article discussing 4 major issues with the PNG-US Security Agreement as leaked, for the many PNG audiences currently interested in this subject.
Mr. Justin Tkatchenko is originally from Melbourne Victoria (Australia) and recruited in early 1990's by the then Member of North East late David Unagi to take charge of UPNG Botanical Gardens that was taken over by NCD in 1993. He did not complete year 12 and according to public information provided to Parliament (bio-data), he completed year 11 certificate at Banyule High School, Melbourne in 1988. Banyule High School has since merged with another nearby high school and formed the Viewbank College in 1994. #BREAKING: Minister for Foreign Affairs Justin Tkatchenko has announced he has stepped down as Minister 24-hours after he said he would not step down. His announcement comes as the country made calls for his sacking and deportation amid comments he made during an interview. Mr Tkatchenko's announcement of his stepping down from office will surely throw the government into disarray as he was in the midst of organising the India-Pacific Leaders meeting and the United States President Joe Biden's historic visit to PNG. The ministry is now left with Prime Minister James Marape. This announcement has been done one week before the important bilateral talks with 14 other leaders. Mr. Speaker. I love this country, the Independent State of Papua New Guinea, and all that this country stands for and the hopes that offers to our people. So, to our Nation, I say to you that I am sorry for any misunderstanding. Papua New Guinea is my home, it is my heart, and is the place where one day I will be laid to rest. … From my heart, I apologies to any of our people who misinterpreted my words which were spoken against those hateful people, in the protection of my daughter.
