The Opposition who is currently at the Crown Hotel in Downtown Port Moresby is claiming that they currently have 62 MPs and will be changing the government anytime from now.
Opposition Leader and Vanimo/Green MP Belden Namah said this when calling on Prime Minister James Marape to resign as the country’s Prime Minister.
He said that the Opposition now has boosted its numbers after 12 Ministers, and other MP’s moved from the Government benches to join the Opposition around midday today.
However prime minister James Marape during his press conference this afternoon said the government is intact and he is still the prime minister.
Marape claimed he had 52 MPs on his side whilst Namah claimed he currently has 62 MPs.
