Della is no new comer to the big league, she has worked with the female representative rugby league side Papua New Guinea Orchids as a trainer since 2018. Della is hoping to attain a NRL Level 1 Trainer Certificate and says working with the male team won't be a problem for her.

"I'm trying to get my NRL Level 1 Trainer certificate and thus I am currently seeking sponsorship to attend the course.

"My dream is to have that certificate so I can encourage other women here in Papua New Guinea that nothing is impossible. We can do what man can do too if we put our mind to it," said Della.

She paid tribute to her mentors who continue to guide her development as a rugby player and now as a coach and trainer.

"David Westley, Michael Marum, Moses Guise Nigel Hukula and Solomon Kulinasi have been supportive of my development. I thank them for their efforts in supporting the women's rugby league program in Papua New Guinea."

Currently on probation as the Central Dabaris Head Trainer in the preseason, Della is hopeful to get a contract before the 2022 Digicel Cup seasons kicks off.

"Im grateful for the opportunity to work with the Central Dabaris Rugby League Club and Im hoping to be here long term," said the former PNG Orchids player.

With her dedication, tonnes of passion and impressive resume that she possess, Della has what it takes to prosper in PNG's number one rugby league competition.
