The potential for farmers in Papua New Guinea to live comfortably from crop and livestock production is huge. With the population growing at 3%, the number of new mouths to feed is over 200,000 every year. More consumers means more money for food producers.
RICH FARMERS MAKE A RICH NATION – The potential for farmers in Papua New Guinea to live comfortably from crop and livestock production is huge.
RICH FARMERS = A RICH NATION.
By Tiri Kuimbakul – 07th August 2019.
Abraham became rich through livestock.
Isaac inherited Abraham’s wealth but his real break came from producing food on rented land in Gerar, a country of the Philistines.
Jacob became rich through livestock production.
Joseph made King Pharaoh and himself rich by managing Egypt’s food security program.
From the times of these men and over the centuries until now, food crop and livestock producers have always been rich people. Why? Because everyone eats everyday – from the pauper to the king.

The beauty of farming is that people do need college diplomas or university degrees to get into it. Every able-bodied person can do it without even knowing how to speak English, because farming is in the blood of every Papua New Guinean.
If we are really going to take back Papua New Guinea, we must produce and consume more locally produced food and livestock.
And if Papua New Guinea is to become the richest black Christian nation on earth, we must empower our farmers by upgrading all existing roads and bridges, airstrips and jetties to ease market access, and improve the law and order situation.
We must instill a business mind-set in them so that they graduate from subsistence farming to commercial farming. And we must train them to save and invest their income.
Joseph emptied Egypt and surrounding countries of all their money by selling food. When the money ran out, he bartered grain for livestock, followed by land, and finally, people. There is a lesson here.
If we give our farmers a chance to demonstrate their potential, they can create jobs and wealth, and change this country.
Rich farmers will mean a rich country.
